Fixing the stucco problem

Shareb

As you can see it's not perfect and I have to keep telling myself it doesn't have to be as it's going to have a stucco finish.

Stucco is usually random unless a specific pattern is intentionally made with a trowel. https://www.google.com/search?q=stucco+patterns&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjv_oTV6uzYAhUE4mMKHXDdCWIQsAQIKA&biw=1760&bih=868#imgrc=JqvqWgYrUwyY1M:

I used a metal stencil to make a random pattern on my room box http://www.greenleafdollhouses.com/forum/?app=gallery&module=gallery&controller=view&id=127844

I don't know if you can see much of the pattern in that picture.

Your house looks great, I do not see a problem with the stucco? I know you probably had a specific vision for how you wanted the exterior to look, but I think you might still be able to achieve it .

This was my attempt at smoothing the previous stucco attempt!  I've since gone over this with the coloured paint with the non-slip texturiser in it.  Looks waaaayyy better!  Thank goodness!  Thanks - I'll check out your room box!

I think you've hit it out of the park. With the stone tower, the exterior and stucco will be magnificent..

Thanks Kathie!!  Means a lot coming from you!  Funny thing is, because of the issue I had with the stucco, I ended up going through all my paints as something to do.  I came across a light blue grey that I didn't know I had that suits my house and colour scheme so much better than the one I was going to use!!
