Guest Posted December 29, 2017 What about trying spackle? To me, stucco is not this wrinkly.. but I know there are different types. You might get better coverage of your wires with spackle. It's probably more durable in the long term also. Sneaking a peak at your interior. It looks lovely. Quote Link to comment
KathieB 6,114 Posted December 29, 2017 Is this tissue paper? I think I'd try Spackle or joint compound. It will definitely cover the wires better. Quote Link to comment
Shareb 1,341 Posted December 29, 2017 Spackle it is! I'll try and scrape this off today and start again with spackle. I think because I'd always imagined this house with cladding, it's hard to see it any other way. I should have clad before putting windows in though. Will know for next time. 11 hours ago, Samusa said: Sneaking a peak at your interior. It looks lovely. Thanks! Although I can see all the flaws of course! Looking forward to getting the exterior done so that I can fix up the wiring and clean it all up. Then I'll get to move the family and furniture back in! 7 hours ago, KathieB said: Is this tissue paper? Yes.....I'm not sold on the look! My fear about using spackle is getting arty with it and knowing how to make swirls etc. I guess it's probably no different to plastering tissue paper all over it! Quote Link to comment
