Westfield Help needed

NellBell

I'm stuck the front to the  left I have left as wood , I was going to stucco and just paint it.

BUT it seems boring so I'm thinking paper clay bricks or stone work . I have been looking for paperclay info but not going to well so need help. Anyone know of a good paper clay tutorial etc... I thought I found one here but could not find the actual paper clay part.  The other ?? will be how do I paperclay over the bay window areas as they are MDF siding and are uneven ?

YouTube is your friend for paperclay related tutorials....as for the bay window, can you explain exactly what you are trying to achieve in this area as alternative solutions may be offered..its a nice house..

Most of the house is stucco I was thinking that it needed something so probably will try making bricks or stone work on the front left side .

Both bays are MDF they don't look real to me they need something I was also thinking to do the brick or stone work on them too. They are uneven though and am not sure how to tackle that thinking I need to do something to make them even. I have been searching Utube and blogs and have finally found some information .

You could continue the stucco on the main body of the house and then do the same stone as you have on your porch on the bays. To smooth out the milled siding a coat of spackle to fill in the boards would probably work. It would be easier to do though if you removed the windows. Alternatively, you could also make stone out of egg carton material and do that up the front face of the house and stucco the bays. Or you could shingle the bays or shingle the house and make the bays look like this with stone at the bottom and then panelling.

Or you could completely panel the bays like this.
