I used my new Cameo 3 to cut the railing for the second floor landing. I cut it from chipboard, and ended up painting it brushed silver with a black rail and base. (Those were made from railroad lumber.) It’s not perfect, but I do like how it came out, and it’s a million times better than anything I could have cut by hand. On my first try, I painted the whole thing black, and it really didn’t pop once it was in place. Then I tried all silver—too sparkly, and too much silver. This kind of ties it to both upper and lower stairs.
