I may break down and make a braided rug for this room, eventually, but I like it as is, with lace panels on the French doors (which look out towards the Gulf of Mexico through a thicket of mangroves) and a potbelly stove (pencil sharpener) on its bricked fire guard to supplement the fireplace to heat the house the few weeks it can get close to freezing in the AM, with the resin Take-a-Chair knockoff to curl up in.
