Miniature needle turn appliqued quilt top

SewMini

This is a fun little side project I'm experimenting with. It's a needle turn applique quilt top for the Casa. The design is decidedly Moroccan but the draws from the Egyptian tent maker traditions. I have a gorgeous needle turn applique wall hanging that I brought home from my honeymoon in Cairo many years ago and always wanted to give it a try. Why not try it in miniature?!

Now there is something I can relate to. I am very new to houses but not so in needle turned applique. I find it very relaxing to do  and I love your design.  I would love to see a picture of it finished.

I wasn't familiar with needle turn appliqué, so I googled it. See it here. Those narrow lines will be a challenge, but how lovely when it is finished. Looking forward to progress photos.
