pollock window.jpg

Door and window plus trims are installed, and I've added the corner and edge trims. I started adding beams and studs, but I'm rethinking the small window. I'm going to pick up one of the working windows from Hobby Lobby and see if I like it better. Adding any more interior trims is on hold until the window gets settled, but there's still a 1,000 shingles to fiddle with while I figure it out.

It's looking good! I love the paint splatter on the floor. ...  You might need some splatter low on the door and walls though... he must have got some splatter on them right? lol

Well, the door knob and surrounding area should have some paint smudges, I would think. :D  A good wash on the door/window would add a lot of depth, in my opinion.

Thanks so much Mike and Brae! When I got it installed, it just seemed a bit... pristine. This was an old barn before Pollock got it, and Pollock was a mess, and a chain smoker as well. It should be dirtier. I bought the other window today, and I think it's a go. I'll need to do some VERY careful trimming around the original window, but I think I'll like this better in the end. It's not really true to the original, but most of this build isn't either, more of a tiny dream of the original. About that mojo...spent most of the day in the gardens, and thought of a few tricks to get the other house going again.
