Checking placement.

This tree was made from a real tree for the structure (a Douglas Fir bonsai that sadly died a couple years ago.) I saved it because I knew I'd use it someday in the future. The "leaves" are candytuft. I followed Brae's instructions with this technique which she discusses more on her blog here (scroll down for the tree) http://www.otterine.com/blog/blog1.php/introducing-ye-olde-taxidermist

I'm leaving it open and lacy. I like the weeping look to it. I may shorten the trunk just smidgen.
