Front view of the little house that couldn't make up its' mind. Is it a farm house?

Is it a Cape cod/colonial (dormers)? Is it a Victorian (Fish scale gables)?

My best answer is it is an early American farmhouse with the original stone foundation and fireplace. It has been through many updates as decades have passed. Including the addition (double decker primrose bash). The current owners have been renovating the inside for a more modern open concept design.

Really like the colors you used a lot.  Those hexagon windows really jazz up the outside. It does look like a farmhouse to me too.  I was raised in Illinois out in the country, and it definitely would fit right in on a rural gravel road surrounded by cornfields and a big old red barn sitting behind it!.

I, also, like your color scheme. I was looking at pix of my Laurel (1st build) and my colors did not have enough contrast. Your house has pizzazz!

Looking good!  An updated farmhouse fits it perfectly.  And I like how the owners are renovating for an open modern concept.:)  The shingles will be stunning on it.
