In the living room

SewMini

I glued the carved piece to a matching piece of plywood to thicken it up. I really like it in the living room. I may lop off the rounded ends of the legs which ere made from doibled up pieces of gingerbread trim for the original Orchid design.

The table is fab.. now you need a rustic church pew for one side and chairs for the other. :D

I was definitely going to do at least one bench! The problem I have now is that I really love the space I get by taking out the soace for the stairs. Now Im thinking of moving them to be in front along the front wall to the left of the door. They would block the window but I was going to do an open air style stair with a narrow tread. It may work. Hmmm

How about a spiral staircase.. or L shape? in that corner behind the dining table and next to the kitchen opening...
