I did the kitchen in Millie August Wild Strawberry wallpaper, because I've always wanted to use that wallpaper someplace. I've always wanted to do a strawberry themed kitchen sometime as well. I have a couple of little empty spools of threat that were painted to look like canisters (got those in the 70s) and from Skycrest Miniatures, I have a strawberry cookie jar and a utensils holder. These will go in the kitchen.
The biggest problems I had were the trying to pick color to go with the wallpaper. The only colors I ever thought would go with the roombox was green and/or red and that was way too much for me. I put the pink flooring in there by accident and decided to go for it. I did decided to do the trim in red, as it brings out the strawberries in the wallpaper.
Eventually, I'll have a stove and fridge on one side of the room, a sink on the other and the red vinyl step stool Lisa gave me. There will be red cafe curtains on the window with white trim. I have no doubt those will turn up one day because I won't be able to make them myself. I will have to make the kitchen appliances, though. At 5" deep, there really isn't anything on the market that small.
I may also have to make the 2" wide table that goes in the middle of the room. Yes, folks, this is going to be the smallest eat-in kitchen ever.
