I'm looking to do a split stairway. Did you make yours stairs? They look good,I want a bigger landing and to make them come out from the side wall. I don't know......they don't look easy. I built a stairght stairway 20 years ago and said I would never do one again.......BUT  I like the look. 

I researched real life stairs on line, for ideas etc.

I bought a hobby Lobby stair case and cut it in half, but you can cut it to make several different runs and landings. At one point, I re- glued it back together. The hardest part was getting the angle of the railing to match up with newel posts.Trial and error for me( I bought extra railing).

It was time consuming waiting for the glue to dry, but I would do it again.

You look like you are doing fantastic for a FIRST build

 

Nice bash on the stairs.. are you going to enclose this structure or leave them open?
