Inglenook fireplace



All the cooking was done here. It was simple food, stews, porridge, bread baked in the oven maybe scones and bannocks on the griddle and on special occasions  meat would be roasted here too. This image is just me indulging the child in me and playing with some goodies I have collected for this box.

Thank you SewMini, when I put a couple of cushions in it, it will look a lot more inviting I hope.

Thanks Cath, I found the rug on EBay, its made by a lady called Mo who made it in exactly the way that she used to make RL ones when she was a child. I love it too, I've never seen one as realistic as this so I'm proud to be its new owner.
