I feel really lucky to have gotten it - I had been wanting a Fairfield more and more - after all the great photos here, but I building it was too daunting. And then this one appeared and called to me...yay!

I think you could still add a window. I would do it from the outside veeeery carefully, but it could be done.

Right - these are all resin/ceramic fireplaces that were used instead of the kit fireplaces. They are quite cute. I want to paint at least one of them white or marble-ish...we'll see. I'm trying focus just on the kitchen at the moment. But I probably should just deal with that stairwell and get it behind me. Which means addressing the living room...and it just snowballs from there. But in a good way.
