Downsizing! RL home under construction

Hey everyone!  Just wanted to let you know that I have had to set aside working on the Charleston for a bit.  My husband and I are working on two real life projects. Building our new home and fixing up our current home for sale.  Lots of packing, meetings, contractors and decisions on top of general everyday life!  We should move in early June, just in time since our daughter is expecting her first child in July, in England!  And, no, we're not moving to England.  Staying here in Texas.

I try to keep up with everyone's progress, just don't have as much time.  It's going to be a busy year!

Good luck with everything. Keep us posted on your RL home progress. Love your new home, its adorable. I am a lover of all house sizes. I don't have the money to flip a RL house so I will put my energy into a mini. I did a holiday house tour in my neighborhood this Christmas and was able to go into peoples homes. Most of them were old Whaling Captains houses from the 1800's. Absolutely beautiful, and the way they decorated was amazing. Enjoy this process and your new Grandchild. I sure do hope you get to visit.

Your house looks lovely. The architecture for new builds is so much better in the states than it is here in Oz.... I'm a little bit jealous... my house is about 130 years old! lol

I hope you have staked your claim on a work area in this new house. :)

Are you going to England when the grand-baby comes?

A fellow Texan...well this one got stuck in Illinois but how wonderful to be building a new home.  I thought the architecture looked like the one my dad had in Texas in 71 and actually close to this design.  Let us know how your wonderful home is doing and how much fun to decorate a REAL HUMAN SIZE house.
