Newel post lamp works!

heartnsoule

I am so afraid of wiring, I was really procrastinating on this one. I soldered for the first time!! The dollhouse didn't blow up so I consider that success.

Could you tell me how you did the newel light? It's a detail I have told everyone I want for my Painted Lady...they thought I was nuts, LOVE that I see one here!

I think my daughter would die for the actual lighting lamp in her dollhouse. Currently, she’s using a small flashlight here        https://www.amazon.com/Vont-Flashlight-Flashlights-Water-Resistant-Accessories/dp/B089T8HDBV for such purposes, but it doesn’t fit the furniture of Victorian times. That’s why I thought of putting at least a light strip there, so it looked more natural. Could you ad a tutorial on how you managed to reach such an effect? It would be very helpful for me. I think my daughter’s dollhouse also has a hollow lamp. But how should I place the wiring? How do I not damage the structure of the house? I would appreciate it if you explained all the possible ways, in the case our houses differ greatly
