My electric kit came and using Darrell’s diagram I laid out the tape. I used the 1 inch from the floor method except on the first floor because there was a slot in the way, the one for the staircase. It was so easy, just as everyone has said. I cut a hole in the back wall that will be behind the stairs for access to the junction splice.
