After + Mini Plant

This is the furniture items after one coat of Dark Oak stain & wiping the excess off with a tissue. I really like how they turned out! I think I will add one more coat though to the drawer in the hall table so it matches the sides a bit better, due to the different wood textures. Then I will glue on the handles. 

I made the mini hosta plant following a tutorial on weloveminiatures.com. I dowonder if the pot is slightly too big for the plant (I have three matching pots and that's the biggest) but oh well :p maybe the owners put it in this pot so the plant can "grow" into it.

That is really beautiful furniture, and you did a great job staining it. Your plant looks fine in the pot. You did a great job making it look so real!
