First attempt at faux bricks

OK, Brae- don't be too critical!  LOL  This is my very first attempt at doing egg carton bricks!  I've been wanting to try it for a long time, so it I figure it is better to 'practice' on one of my own projects rather than on a client project!  And yes- I know! They are spaced too far apart!  I will do better next time.

Nice job! I see it appears you nip the corners too. I did those with sandpaper following Brae's instructions.  Trimming the corners really make a difference in how they look.

I actually think it looks pretty good.  I'm doing brick work now (in cork) and I wish I put a little more space between mine
