Why you build Milt is why you've always built.........because you enjoy it!...........It doesn't matter how good to feel your work is.........there is always someone better.........someone to inspire and in most cases admire!

You joined Greenleaf because you were proud of what you'd done..........you should still be proud of what you've done!

Looking good so far! On loading pictures try doing no more than 5 at a time.......that seems to help sometimes!

I guess one of the things I do not know is why I joined Greenleaf.    I thought I would like seeing other peoples work and find I really am only thinking about Milt.  That bothers me more than the fact others are more creative. 

Anyway I know I must have some talent because the Pierce was in a fund raiser for Children's Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska and I got notice that it helped bring in $4000.   No I did not add a zero.  I realize this is a charity and the ladies, Wine, Women and Shoes, were going to give anyway.  But the leader for the fund raiser credited the house for being a moving factor.

I found the adding the image takes only one picture at a time.  I was trying to add a second and boom, I was all tied up, had to start over.  Anyway got to give it all a chance and if it does not work for me it is not the sites fault it is mine.  Thanks again.

Milt, some of us are builders and others are decorators. Each of us has a niche where we're most comfortable. Personally, I'm a builder, and that extends to making the furnishings as near to realistic as possible. Some of us play with our houses and others are happy enough to fill them and move on. One special thing about this forum is that our members have varied interests and skills and so we can be inspired and educated. Pure bonus is the opportunity to make new friends and sometimes meet them in real life. Welcome!

As for the technicalities of the gallery, consider the imp Iktomi, a mythical spider in his internet iteration who crawls the web looking for ways to create mischief. It's not you, it's not the site -- it's Iktomi meddling with your efforts.  

 

Ditto what Mike said. Nothing wrong at all with building. Some people only decorate and don't build at all. People seem to give opinions, ideas, and help pretty freely here, so you've found the right place. Welcome aboard!
