Guest Posted April 30, 2016 I do like those arched windows to the left and from here it looks as though they go around the corner too? Quote Link to comment

Yes there are chapel windows on 3 sides, there was colored cellophane paper on all of them when I brought it home, one side was in real bad shape, so I took it out with the intention of replacing it. Now I am at the point where I am going to have to decide how to handle them. Leave then open, clear glass, one shade of color or multi colored as they were. As they were originally you could not see the window detail at all from the inside the vellum hid that altogether , and I like seeing the design from both sides. Quote Link to comment
Tesla12 145 Posted May 1, 2016 I've been away for awhile; and strolling through your album.... wow! I was late for work! I absolutely love the new fireplace! Of course, my dream home IS an English manor house with all those incredible moldings. I love the gothic arches. I also love the multi-colored glass in the chapel. Hard decision for you I imagine. I, too, like seeing the window detail from both sides. What an amazing home you are creating. Thank you for sharing your work. Now, I must go to my real life again. Sigh 1 Quote Link to comment

Sigh Thank you! the fireplace was very exciting to build, the entire structure has become very exciting again, it has taken me off task from my 1/6 scale manor house! Well it all needed done at some point though. Quote Link to comment
