3rd Floor Painting done

jbnmini

The 3rd floor will now have 3 new rooms!  The 1st and 2nd floors have been lowered to allow for a more useable 3rd floor.  The roof is just in dry fit for this picture- I needed to make sure the color changes matched with the placement of the walls on the second floor!  The side gable walls were first spackled and then covered with wallpaper liner paper before being painted.  The low front wall sections, uneven from the slat wall type construction, were given a healthy dose of spackle to smooth them out and then painted.

Seems like we have similar problems with whatever house we get Jackie! The attic space is never high enough. I like your solution though......a whole lot better than telling the kids they  have to leave home when they reach 5 otherwise they won't fit in anymore!
