Lati Dolls

MLI Designs

I'm just in love with the facial expressions and the choice of clothing for these dolls. They are BJD and you can pose them in practically any position.

iv seen some on Instagram have the, in their dollhouses. I'm not fond of th choice of dolls available in 1:12 scal. These are slightly off but oh so cute.

im tempts to get one but they are a little pricey.

Be warned: you can't stop at just one. Something I do for my BJDs is I buy the head and find a cheaper body elsewhere (unless I really like the body they come with). Some are on the Pure Neemo bodies (not Lati specifically).

I like her little Boho oufit.  These big eyed dolls remind me of the mass produced big eyed dolls from Japan.  Are these dolls also from Japan.  They are adorable but I'm not familiar with them.

Okay, I'm feeling the beginning of a new obsession. I have never seen faces that are so mesmerizing. I started googling these and wasn't sure if the sites were legit. I can see that they would be MEGA-addicting. Where can I find them?

I think I'm a lost cause...

@amyole I came upon these on someone's Instagram feed. They had a couple in their dollhouse. I asked what they were and she said Lati Dolls. I think they are from Japan, just like Blythe dolls, which I also happen to like. But I really like how small these are. They are so darn expensive though. I just love their prions expressions and the outfits, oh my,my hey are so hipster cool.

you could find them on eBay, etsy, etc..... There are a lot of different types too. I don't really know much about them except that I want one.

After my question - I found the Blythe dolls online.  They are the ones I referred to earlier.   I'd seen both types of dolls before In Lunby dollhouse pics - but didn't know how to find them specifically online till you mentioned Lati.  .

I have similar sized ball-jointed dolls. Mine are not Lati, but Fairyland Pukipuki and Pukifee. They are very pricey but a lot of fun! They are not really 1:12 scale as most collectors see these dolls as "children". However, in my world they are "grown up" elves. (My blog is all about the dolls in my dollhouses.)

A cheaper, quicker way to get a ball jointed doll this size is the Ai jun planning doll. You can get them from ebay for about $40.
