Window for kitchen, work in progress.

Myangela

I spent most of the past two days working on designing the kitchen.  This will be over the kitchen sink.  Twelve inch/foot ceiling, narrow room, only one window, needs to be one heck of a window!

I am so glad you are working on your Charleston house again, I love that house! This window is gorgeous!

I also love your cutting mat. I've never seen one with all those angles and things on it.

Thank you, Kathi.  I'm glad to be back building on it again.  I still have the dining room rug to keep me busy, too.

I'm taking a page out of your playbook on this one, Mike.  The lower cabinet doors and drawers aren't going to be operational.  Just not enough bang for the buck.  Upper cabinets will open, be glass fronted, glass shelved and lighted, of course!  Still haven't decided on flooring, counter or backsplash yet.  The lower cabinets are footed, though, I carved those today.

The cutting mat is a brand my husband uses for his model railroad.  It's made by Hobbico.  It's the only kind I've ever used because I borrowed his, so I guess I've always taken it for granted.  Eventually he bought me my own, a larger size!
