I wanted the leather to have a shine so I used Sculpey Satin Glaze. I'm sure Mod Podge would work good too. Now I have to start the box cushions.

this is a great DIY for those who leather leather furniture in their dollhouses

Thanks for sharing your whole process.  The leather look you definitely achieved and the nail head embellishments are great.  I will keep this technique in mind for future projects.
