Industrial Floor Lamp makeover

I purchased this standard battery operated floor lamp. You have all seen the style. It is a beige fluted shade. Well I'm really into Rustic and Industrial lighting. There are not too many style in miniature size and the ones that are available are pretty pricey.

so I decided to do a makeover. I removed the existing lamp dome and replied it with a medicine tube top (cut off and filed smooth). I painted it a rusty black, copper.....and walaa! A great industrial floor lamp. 

Pother picture shows it lit in the living area of my Sugarplum.

You did a great job on it, and it makes your house look so cozy! I love the idea of light without having to do wiring!
