DIY Bed with wire design

MLI Designs

i am making furniture for my Sugarplum house. I am scaling down all the furnishings so I can create a cozy little rustic cottage.

The upstairs bedroom will have a mix of shabby chic. I tried a standard bed and it literally overwhelmed the space. So here goes my experiment with creating my own bed.

It doesn't look like much and honestly I'm not too impressed but sometimes things start slow and evolve to this wonderful little DIY project.

im waiting for a solder tool to arrive but was killing time while waiting for so,e other things to cute. I'm grabbing things I already have. As can be seen in the photo, I decided to try to make a front wire grill. I made a measured drawing and cut and bent my wire to my drawing. I don't know if I'm using the correct glue. I'm waiting for the grill to dry. I used E6000. Once this dries I'll glue to bed posts. If it looks good I'll replicate on headboard slightly larger.

You are so creative, this is going to be cute! Yeah E6000 is great for metal, but solder would be much stronger. You could also try wire wrapping some very thin were around the joint to help hold it.

Yes E6000 works GREAT for metal.  I'm wondering what the soldier is. I'll go research.  This looks great so far!! Can't wait to see when finished.
