DIY Fireplace Flicker Light

MLI Designs

i picked up some cheap tea light from Dollar Tree. I'm experimenting and motivated to find a way to use these in the fireplace for a fraction of the cost.

ive taken them apart and snipped down excess plastic surround. The biggest challenge is figuring out a way to turn the light on and off with minimal ease. Once this is done I will share results. If you should figure out a way please share.

I hope you get it figured out. I want lights in my Japanese house, but don't really want to do a lot of wiring. I would rather make the lamps and use battery powered LEDs.
