i did a couple of Windows with the lead tape. Unfortunately I ran out of tape. Before I order another roll wanted input.

do you like this look better than the copper?

I think the lead looks more authentic but I quite liked the quirkiness of the copper.  Depends what overall look you're going for as I think either will look great.

I like the lead tape much better, even with its shiny newness. In time it will oxidize and turn darker, adding to the realism. I'd consider some spots of color but would wait until the interior is finished to decide where and how many. I'm in love with this build. :clap:

YEAH! Me so happy. But I am not happy with my sink back to basics and starting all over. Just came back from Joanne's and bought gesso and DuraClear gloss varnish.

this is the sink now. I think it sticks out too much and is rough. It was from polymer clay. Too bad. Well, chalk it up to trial and error

I really don't have a preference on the windows, but I agree that the lead is more authentic. They both came out so nice!

I also agree with Kathie, I would wait until you do more on your house before you decide. You could also cut little diamonds from paper and see how they look before you commit yourself to staining a few.

I like your new sink much better. You can always use this one like a little box on your desk to put paper clips in or something! :-)
