finishing up front patio overhang. Have to start working on framing our windows while waiting for lead tape to arrive. 

I want to thank you all for inspiring to go further. I'm absolutely loving all these new techniques I'm learning.

It's looking good and you do work fast.......but I'm looking through the window at that fireplace..........very nicely done! and one to remember for future builds!

You really are doing a wonderful job with this house. I don't mind the copper either. You can always decide which you prefer once the lead gets to you though. I think it would probably look more authentic, but the copper doesn't look bad if you decide to leave it.

I really like the copper. Is it real? If so, it will age beautifully and look even better with time. The rest of the house is really, really wonderful! Great job!

@stickyfingers I am not sure. The package says silver lined copper foil. Would that mean it would tarnish. I have to say I too like the copper look

I'm pretty sure they do use real copper on those tapes. I imagine it will darken like a penny after a while, and that will match your house really well!
