Paperclay Stone first coat of paint

MLI Designs

First coat of paint done on stone. I'm so excited to see the exterior stone come together, although I wish I would have done a more intricate front stoop.

@MikeUK oh I certainly can learn loads from you. I was just driving back from a Hobby Lobby trip and had something I wanted to ask you and for the life of me I can't remember it now. It will come to me. I wanted your advice on something.

@Shareb I used foam board to make the lower bricks you just cut to your sizing and press hard with pencil or pen to create impressions. And the stonework was Das Paper clay. This was my first time on both and I highly recommend it.

I have to give thanks to all the wonderful miniaturist so who have inspired me. Had I not found this forum my home would probably be painted. Love what I have learned. Don't think I'll ever do a house without paperclay again.
