It's looking beautiful, I love the floor!

I love the floor, too!

I especially like the detail added to the staircase. In combination with the gorgeous parquet floor, it is very elegant.

I noticed the detail on the staircase too, and meant to mention it. It really adds a lot to the looks of the staircase.

Well thanks folks - it doesn't take long to start thinking outside of the "box" with so many innovative people posting pics and ideas on the forums - gold beads from Micheal's and modified Home Depot wood molding to spruce up the stair case -

Mike, This was the first floor I did.... after about an hour in - I was like - what the hell was i thinking !!! and of course I had to do it on the 45 cuz something I read said it makes the room look wider - Tedious - at least i figured out a use for my Dremel Tool 

All that worked paid off, because the floor is beautiful. It really helps to make the hallway a special room.

It looks so elegant. I especially love how you finished the staircase, the stain color and detailing.

And I just noticed the beads.  You definitely gave 'personality' to a hallway.

Wow - I love the stair trim/detailing. WOW.
