shingle strips

Probably done the hard way...I needed to stain shingles off the house. The water-based stain I used dried really quickly, so brushing and wiping each single one was out of the question, as was doing them a loose handful at a time. I taped them all into strips, dipped into the stain, wiped them off, flipped them over and wiped the other side. Hung to dry then pressed flat under heavy books. Took a few hours.
