PLaying around

Jitchiwah

Christmas tree from eBay and shelves made from a kit by ELF Miniatures. It's a very small room so I will have to be careful with what furniture I use to avoid it looking cluttered and cramped. Larger pieces also tend to end up looking very "clunky" in there too, almost out of scale. I think I will be making a lot for this little house.

Very pretty! Your floor turned out beautiful, and that's a great idea to add thickness to the walls! I never thought of using textured scrapbook paper for the ceiling, but that's a great idea! I bought some "dollhouse" ceiling paper, but the scale is way off, IMO.

To be honest, the scrap book paper was almost a last resort as I was finding it hard to track down a good 1/12th scale ceiling paper that either wasn't going to cost way more than I wanted to spend on the paper, or way more than I wanted to spend on international postage! But it worked well and has that little bit of texture I wanted.
