Selkie 4,483 Posted August 16, 2015 Sorry to hear that. We had that happen with Twinkle's barn lights. Made me steaming mad. It was her first contest entry, time was running out and she was beyond tears. Eventually we sanded the paint off on the spot on the barn and the back of the light, used E6000, taped and supported it for 3 days to let it dry and cure, and thus far, it is still on. JFYI, We had used e6000 before on it previously to no avail. Good luck! Quote Link to comment

I've had concerns about using "impressive" glues, worried they might melt the plastic coating around, and separating, the two wires. I'm hangin' that frigging thing! Quote Link to comment
Selkie 4,483 Posted August 16, 2015 E6000 does melt some things. It just melted the acrylic backing I was using for a stained glass window for Fireboy. : ( What about coating the back of the light fixture with a sealer first, say clear nail polish or something like that before adding the glue if you are worried about the connections. You could also coat the wires with Liquid Tape first just to be sure. I'd test it first. Quote Link to comment
