Making a template for the roof pieces. I will then put the roof on and tweak the papers. I am going to put the roof on with hot glue gun as I may have to remove the roof to get it out of this room LOL I think I can use a heat gun and remove it safely if I have to.

You are certainly getting down to the finish line soon. I'm jealous as all get out. My poor Garfield has sat under a plastic tablecloth for several years waiting and waiting for me to get back to it. I just went back through your album and am SO inspired with all your work. Your electrical explanations are wonderful. Thank you SO much for chronicling  your build. It is lovely.

Cheryl, it's nice to know that you are back working on your Garfield again.   When I first began mine almost 2 years ago your album really helped me out to know how things fit together.    I made roof templates too out of craft paper but have decided to just go ahead and glue on the  individual shingles.   The Garfield is BIG so I hope you'll be able to move it to another room.
