Second floor windows installed with trim on the bottom. Installation of these windows is not as complicated as it appears. See  page 14 of the MHM instructions. There are two pieces of "bow window templates" from plywood sheet MRD on page 20 of the instructions. One template sits on the floor, centered in the second floor window opening The other lays above it against the ceiling. The double angle molding pieces fit into the three middle grooves on the top and bottom template. One angled molding fits in the groove on each outer side of the window templates. The four second floor large windows fit top-to-bottom between the bow window templates and fit into the window openings from the inside of the house.

The front of the center double angle molding should be flush with the front edge of the second floor. This means that the sides of the windows fit about one inch back from the side wall edges. You can see the wallpaper of the second floor in this photo. It's a strange fit, but that's how it works.
