Ceiling in progress

otterine

Working on the interior ceiling portion of the roof. I cut the roof board down since I had narrowed the building. I had to cut an additional piece for the back since I had made the building deeper. Interestingly enough, I ended up with an extra roof board since the one that came with the kit originally was damaged so I had enough to cut the extra piece for the back from the same material.

I used the same template with siding strips method as I had for the walls and floor. Right now it's just propped in place to check the fit, but we're not ready to close up just yet.

Do you keep track of your hours on a build? Just thinking of how many it must be for how many lovely details you add and all the experiments that lead up to the final installation of each item.

Thank you!  :D

No, I don't really count the hours building -- it would be too much to track and to backtrack when things don't work out.  I count hours only on stitching projects since I'm actually sitting down and it's easier to track.
