Finished living room

I had to 'play' a bit, so I sorted thru my stash and found these pieces that matched the living room color scheme. Sorry the photo is blurred - the camera focused not where I wanted it to!

 

You can see the added trims around the arches and the medallion wreaths above. It was kinda bland before and I thought such an elegant house needed some more elegant architectural features. I also really like the trim I did around the door. :)

 

After seeing this photo with the teal green window bench pad, I think I need to re-do that in a more neutral color and make teal and pink throw pillows.

Yes, the trim and wreaths were a great idea! I do feel like those alcoves were a little weird and awkward before (I remember your earlier posts asking "what on earth am i supposed to do with these?") and you've really transformed them in to something elegant and interesting.
