You make it look so easy.

The first time I did this my cord got shorter and shorter and shorter and shorter. I could not, for the life of me, figure out how to get them back together without wrecking the wires. It was embarrassing to feel so dumb. But I got it eventually. That's what counts in the end.

Yeah, I think it's all in the technique and mine is taking a fair bit of perfecting!  I only know how to do it as I watched a youtube clip.  Although watching someone else do it and then trying it yourself is a different thing completely!  This isn't the first one I've done though.
