window seat I

havanaholly

I thought putting a window seat in the front bay would help the look I wanted for this house, so I got a sheet of scrap paper from the packing in a box of stuff I'd ordered, smoothed it out and folded it along a side it was torn to get a smooth, even edge. I placed that edge under the center window and carefully pushed the paper along the angled walls on each side to crease it for the abutting wall angles. Then I laid the paper on a piece of foamcore and cut the trapezoid shape out. I made front & side pieces from foamcore and glued them together and covered them with some pretty lightweight tapestry upholstery fabric I had.
