You don't become an Olympic swimmer just because you splashed in the bathtub. It takes jumping in the deep end and practice, practice, and more practice.

This build is already cherished by your grands and it gives them something to play with. It's not "too" precious so you hide it away from them, rather you let them experience and enjoy. What better combo than that?!
