ROOF WALL - BATHROOM

PepperJoAz

So, this is the problem wall.

I can't decide if I should try to do paneling on this wall or not. I feel like I have 3 choices:

1. Make paneling for both the straight portion of the wall and continue it up the slant of the roof.

2. Make paneling for ONLY the straight portion of the wall, and have all of the slanted portion of the wall painted green.

3. No paneling on that back wall, just paint for all of it (with white baseboard to match the rest of the room).

Any suggestions???? I need help!!!!

Just to throw out another thought ... Maybe it would make more visual sense to you if you use up some of the eaves area and made a straight kneewall that matched the height of the paneling you've built. Then it will go around the room symmetrically. The space you "loose" isn't really that functional anyway.
Just a thought.

Fixed the typos. Whew! Embarrassing.

I'm sure you saw KathieB's links in the thread on your build. Making the faux drawers and cupboards and such could be a great addition to your room. She has some fabulous ideas.

No worries - I don't even notice typos half the time!!! I had considered briefly what you suggested, and really thats my favorite idea so far. I just wasn't sure what to call it or how to explain it - thanks for coming up with the words for me!!!! I'll give it a try and update when it looks decent....lol
