Tudor Cottage

Dalesq

Yes, you guessed it. I spent the day making more flowers! :)

This kit was a gift from April (thank you again April!) and it is made by Pascale Garnier.

All the parts come prepainted and punched, so the only thing I did was add some yellow veining to the leaves with a water color pencil. The colors are subtle and perfect...they look incredibly realistic, and this photo doesn't do them complete justice. All of her kits are 1:12 scale, but the wonderful thing about hydrangeas is that they can get so large in real life! Sooooo, I utilized the smaller leaves from the kit and did my spacing for 1:24 scale so that I can use these with Tudor Cottage. I'm totally in love with them

Your flowers look amazing, all of them! I am trying to make some half scale flowers myself latelly, my leaves aren't turning out as realistic as yours thou. I guess I have to try a bit harder with the coloring, thanks for sharing I'll give it another try soon. :) Fantastic work!
