The paint runs on the back are original - Papa did that, not me. I have not painted "fresh" wood except on the back, where I painted the ends of the siding and the roofing, and the crossbars on the windows. Haven't yet decided what I'm going to do with the back. I'm going to Hobby Lobby tomorrow, so will look around for ideas.
