Spent a couple hours cleaning the little house all up. My research said not to soak wood with water (which was my first inclination) so I used a shopvac to blow into the crevices, then brushed all unpainted surfaces with a copper-bristled brush, then blasted it with air again. After that I took a vinegar/water mixture (1:1) and using a soft rag washed all surfaces, inside and out. Looks much better!
