What a beautiful piece, Jo. Just yesterday I was looking again at the Arsenic & Lace room box while botching the soldering on my chandeliers - guess I was hoping that some of that detail work magically transfers to my soldering skills.... well, let's just say that that didn't quite work the way I hoped.... I still can't solder these fine wires.... hahahaha

I envy you for the trims you use throughout your pieces. If you have some 'not secret' source that might be willing to ship overseas - feel free to share, because I am still on the lookout for suppliers. I'm getting tired of the ones readily available and am even looking into getting a router out of sheer desperation.

Again though, really amazing detail work, and so much attention to even the most minuscule components of the house. And the dolls make me check my savings account..... again.....

Stunning, and just what I needed before I go to work. Thanks for sharing this.

Awww thank you Soapz and Selkie.

Which trims do you mean Soapz? I buy lots of bits and pieces such as brass findings and beads etc from Chinese suppliers on EBay. Not any particular one, just whatever takes my fancy at the time. If there is anything specific that you have your eye on let me know and I'll tell you where I got it if I can remember - I don't keep secrets and am always willing to share.

Good morning, Jo. I'm always on the hunt for wood moldings and trims - mostly on ebay. Right now I'm thinking about using plaster on cords and braided material to 'fake' mouldings for ceilings to give them a more ornate look. I'm a cheapskate at heart..... hahaha.

On this picture you are using a beaded trim on the door and a really beautiful ceiling mouldings - are those standard or did you built them up from different pieces?

Thanks again for sharing your work with us - I had your popcorn witch for breakfast this morning..... as always stunning work - I think I need to get a second job.... I'll go look for one - any day now....

Well, I'm officially in love.... these are outstanding. Thank you so much for sharing that link. I think I'll go and break the bank. I might have to get them shipped to my family in Germany and make them ship it to me. Saves me some of the shipping costs.... they don't get reimbursed....
