To continue the New England/Martha's Vineyard theme, I went online and looked for works by artisans of the region. I settled on some paintings by Cape Cod artisan Ralph Cahoon. He tends to use sailors and mermaids as recurring themes in his very whimsical paintings. This one is called "A mermaid in Canton".
