Bespaq Stained
Last summer I added this beautiful unfinished Bespaq piece to my collection. It will live in the foyer of the Beacon Hill. The finished version was red mahogany with a gloss finish. I see a lot of dark wood in my mental image of the house, so I've stained it with Minwax Provincial and will coat it with clear satin finish polyacrylic.
I found a couple of spots with glue, but the stain covered it sufficiently. The mirror was not removable -- at least I wasn't going to mess with removing it -- so the edges were tricky, but it all worked out.
