Cut the siding strips into lengths and widths to fit the front of the block, leaving space on all sides so they resemble drawers. The drawers can fit the full front of the block, or you can combine horizontal and vertical placement to create drawers with doors on either side. Sand the edges of the siding strips and paint them black. Use a toothpick dipped in gold paint to apply a gold edge to each side of the black strips.
